The Golden retriever is
a
working dog. Today he is
often used as family dog or as handy dog
due to its soft and
docile character. In the
world of Golden, we find
the working line (hunting
with a well developed
instinct) and the show
line (physical qualities
of beauty). Certain
breeders try to find a
balance between both and
call this line "dual".
This way of breeding is
not simple and demand
numerous years of
selection and work. We
would try to respect at
most these two lines to
find the best balance
and approach the
standard of the Golden
Retriever. A beautiful
and good dog!
For every litter we respect
certain criterias by basing us on the judgments of
the shows, work of our females and the conditions of
health. Our choice of the males will be sometimes
more in the dual line and sometimes in the show line
according to our projects. Moreover a selection at
the level of the health is made by analyzing the
results of the hips, the bends and the eyes. Even if
the breeder selects the dogs by their healthy
results, it does not want to say that there is a
guarantee and absence of problem for the
descendants.
Our breeding is a family breeding. The puppies will
be raised with us during 9 weeks.
Afterward, I'm available all the time for your
questions, trainings of work or show, walks... Our
breeding produces few puppies and each of them is
unique for me. Therefore, I shall like following
them throughout their life.
The
conditions of breeding
First contact:
if you are
interested in a puppy,
we can meet during a
walk. Then, I shall send
you a questionnaire to
be filled to get more
informations about the
place of life of your
future puppy. We are
regularly going to see
again each other and I
shall send you photos of
the pregnancy and the
puppies during the first
9 weeks. I reserve the
right to refuse certain
demands.
The first visit:
is accepted (by
respecting all the rules
of hygienes) after 4
weeks.
Choices of puppies:
tests of work and
characters will be made
at 7 weeks to help the
choice of puppies. I
shall advise you in your
choice of the puppy.
Puppies will be
registered in the
Luxemburg book of the
origins = PEDIGREE (recognized
by the FCI). They will
leave the house with
their pédigrée, the
European passport
and of the documentation
which will guide you
according to the age of
the puppy.
Departure in
families:
puppies will leave the
kennel at 9 weeks.
After the
departures: we
are going to organize
meetings in a regular
way to practice various
activities and to answer
to your questions.
Naturally I shall always
be there to answer your
questions.
Breeding
laws of the FCL
Puppies born in
Luxembourg must be produced and raised according to the laws of
breedings of the UCHL (Cynologique union of the Luxembourg).
* Puppies are registered at the LOL (Luxemburg book of the
origins=pédigrée). Both parents are registered on books of origins
recognized by the FCI. (Federation cynologique international)
* Puppies will have their name and the affix of the kennel asked by
the UCHL.
* Both parents must have had at least two "very Well" in two shows (CACIB
or CAC ) under two different judges.
* Both parents don't have problems of health. The dysplasie of hips
must be controlled by an association of the FCI. Only dogs A , A-B
and B-B are allowed. Radios can be made from 15 months on.
